China has implemented new law, punishing parents for bad behaviour of children
Parents in China may be subject to punishment if their children exhibit “very bad behaviour” or commit crimes, according to a new law.
"There are many reasons for adolescents to misbehave, and the lack of or inappropriate family education is the major cause," said Zhang Tiewei, spokesman of the Legislative Affairs Commission.

This is a part of a series of regulations in China, targeting education and the youth. Other legislature, passed this year, includes limiting the time children can play online games to 3 hours per week, cutting back on homework, banning after-school tutoring, and encouraging boys and young men to be less “feminine” and more “masculine”.
