6 people have fallen victim to COVID-19 in Bulgaria in the last 24 hours
Bulgaria has won its battle against the last wave of COVID-19. Cases are rapidly falling, and fatal outcomes of patients are becoming increasingly rarer. Hopefully, this is not just the end of the battle, but the whole war, as the disease has claimed the lives of 36 272 people in Bulgaria.
Currently, there are more than 193 074 active cases in the country, while there have been around 1 120 000 total confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic. In total, there have been around 4 330 000 vaccines administered.

Out of 7 823 PCR tests conducted, 919 have been positive, which adds up to around 13% of the tested.
Currently hospitalized are a total of 2 187 people, out of which 255 are in intensive care.
6 have succumbed to the illness, while 518 people have recovered.
523 doses of the COVID-19 vaccines have been administered.
