58 people have become victim of COVID-19 in Bulgaria in the last 24 hours

The apparent success of the new measures hasn’t been sustained well, as vaccination rates halved during the last 24 hours. This might be due to hacker attacks against the national health database. If the measured don’t yield the desired effects in 2 weeks, a full lockdown will be initiated.

Out of 25 323 PCR tests conducted, 4 826 have been positive, which adds up to around 13% of the tested.

Currently hospitalized are a total of 6 792 people.

602 patients have been admitted to intensive care, while 58 have succumbed to the illness.

310 people have recovered.

11 690 doses of the COVID-19 vaccines have been administered.
