34 people have fallen victim to COVID-19 in Bulgaria in the last 24 hours

Bulgaria’s COVID situation is still continuously improving, with active cases falling, and daily death cases decreasing. This has led to Bulgaria lifting most of its COVID-19 restrictions and visiting sites of public importance no longer requires a green certificate.

Currently, there are more than 195 000 active cases in the country, while there have been 1 117 525 total confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic. In total, there have been around 4 327 565 vaccines administered.


Out of 18 262 PCR tests conducted, 2 393 have been positive, which adds up to around 13% of the tested.


Currently hospitalized are a total of 2 349 people, out of which 288 are in intensive care.


254 have succumbed to the illness, while 4 777 people have recovered.


2 327 doses of the COVID-19 vaccines have been administered.
