310 people have become victims of COVID-19 in Bulgaria in the last 24 hours

A record amount of people have died from COVID-19 in Bulgaria, while the number of new infections has also risen to a frightening number. Currently, there are more than 100 000 active cases in the country, while there have been 600 000 total confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic. The situation here is grim and highly underestimated by the populace.

Out of 49 862 PCR tests conducted, 6 007 have been positive, which adds up to around 12.05% of the tested.

Currently hospitalized are a total of 8 030 people.

669 patients have been admitted to intensive care, while 310 have succumbed to the illness.

3 009 people have recovered.

14 545 doses of the COVID-19 vaccines have been administered.
