124 people have become victims of COVID-19 in Bulgaria in the last 24 hours

The number of infections in Bulgaria is still rising rapidly. The situation is a lot worse than how it was last year. Thankfully, vaccination rates in the country are climbing up. This is the third day in a row with over 23 000 vaccines administered.

Out of 49 300 PCR tests conducted, 5 178 have been positive, which adds up to around 10.5% of the tested.

Currently hospitalized are a total of 7 553 people.

656 patients have been admitted to intensive care, while 124 have succumbed to the illness.

2 321 people have recovered.

25 500 doses of the COVID-19 vaccines have been administered.
